Hello, I’m Van Anh, and I thought I’d share a little bit about myself. I’m naturally curious and always up for learning new things. After spending eight years abroad, I came back to Vietnam working as a cosmetic researcher, but I also discovered a real passion for teaching English. Living in different countries made me realize how hard it can be for non-English speakers to get by, especially in today’s super-connected world. That’s what got me into teaching - I wanted to make learning English fun and easy for everyone.
In my classes, I’m all about keeping things interactive and engaging. I focus a lot on speaking, listening, and building up students' confidence to communicate. I love seeing my students get more comfortable and start speaking more naturally.
I want to tailor lessons to each student. Everyone learns differently, so I switch things up depending on their needs and goals. Some students need more conversation practice, while others might need to sharpen their grammar and reading skills, so I adjust as we go.
Outside of teaching, I’m pretty laid back. I love baking (and eating what I bake!), getting lost in a good book, or just chilling with some great music. Exercise is another big part of my routine - it helps me stay focused and energized, plus it's a great way to clear my head after a busy day.
Well, that is about me. I hope to see you in my class and have fun time learning English.
