Hello, I am teacher Fiona who is now living in Canada. I have 20 years of experience in teaching ESL. I’ve got Master of TESOL and two Bachelors of Arts. I have experience in teaching English for Children and Adults. Furthermore, I have worked as a tutor for those who wish to take IELTS and TOEFL iBT to study abroad. Currently, I am working as an ESL Online teacher/tutor.
I love teaching English language. It’s not only my professional but also my interest. I am keen on supporting learners to enhance their language acquisition, motivate their strength development, overwhelm their weaknesses and encourage their skill of public speaking. I enjoy teaching and communicating with children to have fun and to be younger in mind all the time. Children can learn vocabulary by singing songs, playing games and quizzes. Adults can improve their language performance by practicing daily conversations, watching movies and answering questions, discussing up-to-date controversial topics, and practicing grammar online. My achievement can be seen in the improvement, development and success of my learners and their gratitude to me by giving me positive feedback and recommending me to many others. Learning English in my class will be motivated and enjoyable and you can use what you learned to satisfy your practical benefits. Enjoy funny classes with me to make English language easier. Hello, my name is Tram. I live in HCMC. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in TESOL.
With nearly 3 years of teaching experience, I have had the pleasure of teaching English to Vietnamese students and Vietnamese to foreigners. In addition to my teaching experience, I have also worked in translation, interpretation, and the finance and banking field. These experiences have enhanced my language skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to different professional environments.
Through my teaching journey, I have come to strongly believe in the close connection between language and culture. Language is not only a tool of communication but also a gateway to understanding and appreciating different cultures. My teaching philosophy centers around creating an interactive learning environment that values cultural diversity. I strive to incorporate cultural elements into my lessons, encouraging students to explore different perspectives and embrace the richness of language and culture.
